Listening First. Delivering Confidence That Feels Like You
Who is Soren Friis Larsen
As the Owner of Riviera Hair Replacement and Riviera Aesthetic, I am incredibly proud of the team that surrounds me. We have built something special — a group of highly skilled, deeply compassionate professionals who are not only experts in hair loss solutions, but true artisans in their craft. Every client who walks through our doors brings a unique story, and we never take that lightly. Our mission is simple, but deeply meaningful: to ensure that each person leaves feeling confident, cared for, and truly themselves again.
Achieving that level of transformation takes more than technical skill. It requires teamwork, precision, and an almost obsessive attention to detail — from the first consultation to the final cut, color, and styling. Whether it’s recreating a natural front hairline, perfectly matching tone and texture, or adjusting a system until it feels just right, our work lives in the details. I often say that our team performs magic — but the truth is, it’s years of experience, dedication, and craftsmanship coming together in a way that feels seamless to the client.
My own role in all of this is a little different. I am not a stylist, and I don’t pretend to be one. My greatest asset is not my hands — it’s my ears.
I listen — carefully and completely — to what our clients are going through, what they hope for, and what may be holding them back. I listen to our team, to our suppliers, and to the subtle nuances that define each individual case. Then, I work to connect those insights — translating needs, ideas, and expectations into a clear path forward. That often means coordinating closely with our network of master craftsmen and trusted suppliers to ensure that every solution is as personalized as it is beautiful.
In many cases, especially with custom hair systems or complex hair loss situations, the process requires patience. It may involve refinement, iteration, and ongoing adjustments. That’s where our commitment truly shows. We don’t step back once a piece is delivered — we stay with our clients, guiding them through each stage until the result not only looks right, but feels right. That sense of partnership is at the core of everything we do.
Before finding my way to Riviera, my career took me across industries and continents. I had the opportunity to work with innovative teams in health, design, and technology — experiences that shaped how I think about problem-solving and service today. Across all those fields, one lesson stood out consistently: success is built on three foundational principles — quality, integrity, and empathy.
Those values are now deeply embedded in how we operate at Riviera.
Quality means never compromising on materials, craftsmanship, or outcomes. Integrity means being honest about what is possible, setting clear expectations, and always acting in the client’s best interest. And empathy means understanding that hair loss is rarely just about hair — it’s about identity, confidence, and how someone feels when they look in the mirror.
I’ve always had a strong curiosity and a drive to learn. I’m constantly exploring new technologies, materials, and techniques that can improve outcomes for our clients — whether that’s advancements in hair systems, hair replacement techniques, hair suppliers, advancements in trichology, new approaches to scalp care, or innovations within aesthetic treatments. But some of the most important insights don’t come from labs or suppliers — they come directly from our clients. Listening to their experiences, their frustrations, and their ideas often leads us to the most meaningful improvements.

Academically, I hold both a Master’s degree and an MBA, which have strengthened my understanding of leadership, strategic development, and continuous improvement. But in many ways, the most important lessons I’ve learned have come from working closely with people — understanding their needs, earning their trust, and building systems that deliver consistently high-quality results.
On a personal level, this work carries even deeper meaning. I lost my father to cancer at a young age, and that experience has stayed with me. It shaped how I view the role we play for our medical clients — those going through chemotherapy, radiation, or dealing with conditions like alopecia.
For many of them, walking through our doors is about much more than appearance. It’s about regaining a sense of normalcy during a time when so much feels uncertain. It’s about dignity, comfort, and the ability to recognize themselves again. Being able to support someone through that journey — even in a small way — is one of the most meaningful aspects of what we do.
At Riviera, we often say that we are in the business of hair. But the truth is, hair is just the medium.
What we really provide is trust.
And trust is built the same way every time — by listening, by caring, and by delivering results that feel as natural as they look.
